Chekra (“we”, “us”) builds and operates marketing and front-office automation for service businesses. This policy explains what we collect through this website and how we handle it.

Information we collect

When you book a call or contact us, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, business, email, and phone number. We also collect standard analytics about how this site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device type).

How we use it

To respond to your inquiry, schedule and prepare for calls, provide our services, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information. We do share some information with Meta for advertising, described under Sharing below — California law treats that as “sharing” for targeted advertising, which is a different thing from a sale, and we would rather name the difference than leave you to guess at it.

Sharing

Two different things happen with your information, and they are worth keeping apart.

Providers who help us operate. We share information with the tools we use to run the business — scheduling, phone and messaging, email, and our CRM — only as needed to deliver what you asked for, or where the law requires it. These providers act on our instructions and do not use your information for their own purposes.

Advertising. This website runs the Meta (Facebook) pixel on every page. It tells Meta about your visit — the pages you open, your IP address, your browser and device, and identifiers stored in cookies that Meta sets in your browser — so we can measure whether our advertising is working. If you submit a booking form and tick the marketing box, we may also send Meta a scrambled (“hashed”) version of your email address and phone number so it can match your booking to an ad. Hashing is one-way: Meta receives the scrambled value, not your actual email or phone. We do not send your name, and we have turned off Meta’s automatic collection of form fields, so the only details that reach Meta are the ones described here.

Meta is not one of the providers described above. It uses this information in its own advertising systems, not solely on our instructions, which is why we list it separately.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, and you can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
